This album by Family Force 5 rocks, rolls, dances (and even raps) at a high and fun pace...producing some
very infectious sounds and several well-done songs...a couple of them great enough to garner accelerated airplay and appearances
on national TV and many mega-venues.
This album reveals why the band has gone from nowhere to main stage in just 24 months since this
album's release. The Craig Ferguson Show, the Warped Tour, and C-Stone say it all.
"Kountry Gentlemen", "Drama Queen", and "Love Addict" are super releases. They are catchy, full of
dvarying vocals and instrumentations, and memorable. The quality is certainly there. Really not a bad song in
the lot.
They label this music crunk rock, which has that Southern, Skynyrd-like energy and feel...mixed
in with many other cool, modern elements, including crunching guitars, a DJ, and very fine lyrics and vocal delivery.
They got (not only) dudes, but also brothers, brothas, and chicks participating in all the sonics...especially
three from the Olds clan. These Georgians (not the ones that Vladimir Putin is picking on) know how to make music.
We'll see if they can make some more great albums in the days ahead.
