I find myself somewhat detached in reviewing this disc. When I receive a disc to review, only to find that the band has broken up, mixed feelings arise. Campground’s “Chop Harness” is chock full of solid songwriting and a stinging guitar vibe. When one of the influences of a band is Dinosaur Jr., there is a lot to live up to. Thankfully, for an independently produced project, it is not a stretch making the connection. I wish I had discovered them sooner.
