Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, Buckra has a seeming corner
on the gypsy rock sound. What I hear is a semi-lounge cross with a revved up
Stray Cats vibe. Not bad! It makes me want to tap that old foot. I am a sucker
for jangled guitar.
With all that said, these guys are seeming-veterans of the
regional Ohio scene. You can hear the maturity in this latest installment by
Buckra. I only wish I add discovered them six or seven years ago.
