During the 1990s decade, Christian Rock Music continued to grow on all fronts - artists, recordings, airplay, sales, fans, labels, tours, festivals, and etc.  As the Pentecostal and Evangelical Christian movments grew, as more artists became known, and as technology brought prosperity to the West, the underground Christian Rock scene began to be recognized more and more by the mainstream industry and general culture.

During the Nineties, seasoned artists like The 77s, Daniel Amos, Michael Knott, Bride, The Choir, and Adam Again continued to make relevant sounds and headline the concerts, while numerous rookies came aboard to usher a new generation of Christian Rock tunes and mindsets.

During this era, several artists and bands had significant "Biblical Music" crossover success, including MxPx, Jars Of Clay, and Payable On Death, not to mention U2, Collective Soul, Creed, Alice Cooper, Charlie Daniels, Johnny Cash, and others.
